That will most likely be the module in the door

Hi,

It will be the window regulator module.

Chap on Ebay repairs them, he does a damn good job aswell.

See below topic:-

Had mine done by him. Sent it off and got it back with 48 hours.

Regards

Tony

I have found that water getting into the car door causes the module to fry and eventually to fail. I have replaced two on my car and the last one I fitted was not a original part but a funny replacement that was supposed to be waterproof but it too has failed. Ive given up for now but when I do replace it Im going to try to waterproof it and the wiring etc. Good luck with yours.

Yep, waterproof it. I filled the connectors with dielectric grease and wrapped the whole regulator in a freezer bag. The bag needs to be open at the bottom for water to escape. Make sure the blades inside the connector are clean and tight.

Hi,

The guy off ebay waterproofs it so it does not happen again. He puts heatshrink over it in order to stop water ingress.
