Hi All,

How do I remove the steering wheel of a Megane II without causing a fault to the airbag of the steering wheel. The steering wheel is a bit loose I need to fasten it.

Take the Neg battery terminal off and walk away for 20-30 mins for any residual charge to disapate
Remove bottom cover on steering column
using an 8mm drill bit put the blunt end into the hole on back of steering wheel
pushing the drill gently pull the airbag slightly towards you and slide up
careful as 2 cables inside
