Central locking jammed. Door unable to open

Hi everyone, new to this forum.

The driver side rear door has jammed on my 2000 1.6 16v Alize. When I bought the car the central locking didn't work on this door but you could still open the door by pulling up the lock button and opening door from inside or outside. Now this isn't working either. Unfortunately child lock is on on this door so inside door lever mechanism wont work, is there any way to take child lock off from inside door panel?

Have stripped side panel and outside handle off to try and force the lock upwards, but no amount of levering any relevant locations is doing anything.
Getting to the point where think I may need to force the door open by breaking the plastic striker.

But any advice or experiences would be great before I get out the wrecking gear
