Hi,

My dad's megane has had this annoying clicking sound from n/s wheel only when you drive off for a few seconds, can anybody shed any light to what it may be ?

It sounds like the CV joint to me, I'm sure you can change just the outer knuckle without the whole drive shaft.
is it less noticeable when driving straight and louder on full lock?

Thanks for reply, yes it would be louder, I was thinking cv joint myself. I got him to order a second hand driveshaft which i'll stick in for him it wouldn't do any harm to change the gear oil anyway .
