HELP!

Hi All
This is my first time on this great site. I have just bought a 2003 Megane 1.6 vvt, on the test drive all seemed OK. After a day or two it has bad starting and cuts out until engine is hot. OK I have fitted a new Dephaser and Crankshaft and Camshaft sensors. I am not getting any faults on my Clip! I am going mad with this car as it is my daughters car. I am 100% with a diesel and have not worked on petrol engines for a long time. I am thinking ecu playing up as when hot it seems to run fine. Who ever put the ecu in the engine bay needs a kick up the rear! Has anyone else had this problem and fixed it.
