driver window wont respond!

driver window wont respond!

Hi, last week my drivers window didn't respond. Then it did and it wouldn't go up for a while until i just jiggled the button. I haven't attempted to put it down since as i feel this may be a bad move. The question is, is it the switch or can i do something else? what ever the solution is can anyone help? and also advise me how to get the door panel off as well, many thanks, Johnny.

My Megane Mk2 2006 had the same problem, its a known fault.Gave Renault customer services a call in 2012 when it happened and they fixed both the driver and passenger windows. Not sure if they're still doing this scheme though.
