Heater Blower Motor

My heater blower motor is only working on full speed (4) is this a common problem & how is it fixed?

The fans seem to work through a resistor when this happened to mine I took it to my auto electrician he Re-did it for 35 quid a few years ago never had any bother since

Changing the Resistor assembly has fixed the problem. There is a good video on youtube.

good you fixed it.
but i believe that the correct thing to do what i have shown. (if it is the connector burning issue and not the resistor itself)
as the issue is with the design / material of the connector.
you have replaced it but it will / could burn out over time.
and my fix costs nothing (well just the connector block if you not got any ) and is a safer permanent repair.
