Leaking oil from oil return feed

As above loosing a few litres every few 100 miles, problems not got any worse although a hazard waiting to happen, sourced leak which appears to be the oil return pipe that goes in to top of turbo as elsewhere looks dry
I've nipped it up but it didn't budge so must be tight...
Brings me to the o rings... Had a mobile mechanic change by turbo away from home so didn't see the work being done, and I think the o ring must have either been stuck on the old turbo or it dropped out or a number of things..
Brings me to this, I paid £6 odd for part number 7701471740 from renault, now when I undo the feed pipe and replace the I ring do I need to prime the turbo then? As it's a used turbo and should be full of oil or lubricated anyway.... So do I still need to prime or can I get away with changing and tightening back up?
Also having a whoosing in the passenger footwell... Was like it before turbo was done and after... Torque appears to be down a bit aswell, not much but I can notice it's not pulling like a 1.9 dci should.... Mpg and everything else appears fine, maybe a split on the pipe work on that side? Is there anything common? As pipe work appears to be plastic and is the air pipe (to filter)
Thanks in advance
