what have members paid for 1.5 dci timing belt and water pump replacement, i'm interested to know main dealer cost and specialist or local garage
is it a pig or is it do-able, main dealer or specialist ?

IIRC, the main dealer cost wasn't too bad - I think it was around £350ish mark. Mine was eventually done at an independant (non-Renault) specialist though, at £280 to include the cambelt kit, waterpump, and rear brake pads (parts and labour)

I bought the timing belt kit and auxiliary belt online for £81 and my local garage charged me £124 (3 hours labour) to fit them. So £205 in all. ( I didn't change water pump as the belts were done due to age, 5 years old, rather than mileage which was only 24k).
A water pump is about £25 and may add £20 to the labour cost.
I'd be aiming for £250 for it all to be done.
