The problem was present before the DPF removal and remap, so I don't think they have caused the issue. I'll take a look under the car sometime this week and see if all connections are good.

It's a good point. Given the location and temperatures... In fact, trace the whole circuit to the ECU.

freelanderuk, is this the same way your DPF is removed (hardwer wise)

They cut open my dpf removed the insides and rewelded it all ,then red the ecu and applied a custom remap to remove the dpf regen settings from the ecu

sorry for late reply on trouble code, this is what I got out of auto data :
Throttle actuator control (TAC) motor - range/performance problem
couse: wiring, TAC motor
Renault Megane II 1.9dci sport p. 3dr. lowered on koni's,and exhausting through sebring

when you removed the dpf, and put the decat pipe on instead. hopefully they did't keep the dpf as they are worth 200 in scrap!

I think you mean the catalytic convertor is worth some money not the dpf

Hi...Can any megane sport nuts help....my 2.0t 165 has a check in prob....been remapped to 212.8 bhp at wheels...by hi tec...npton....was fine for few weeks...Gave it some welly once and it went into limp mode...check injection....had codes read....saying. Motorised throttle valve....turbo pressure sensor. And....sensor no 2. Put used throttle body off eBay for £50
. Alright for a day and a half then back to check injection again...had codes read again still said motorised throttle valve and sensor no 2.He reset body with his adelphi laptop...still the same and said by a new throttle body... Renault £360... eBay...A1...£220?... Really stuck now with this..in complete despair...Don't know what to do!

get to RN dealer and get a proper diagnosis.. a mechanic suggesting simply swapping parts is of no use!
