Interior door grab handle renovation.

I recently picked up a 05 Renault Megane 1.9 Dci Convertible. The Interior door grab handles are factory coated in a type of rubberised paint and this is badly flaking.
When I looked at a few Megane's I noticed they pretty much all suffered from this and although it doesn't hamper the effectiveness of the grab handle, it does look like an eyesore.

Online I've found a relatively cheap enamel rubberised paint from Halfords (http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?storeId=10001&langId=-1&productId=764729&catalogId=10151).

I'm going to be removing the handle completely, not just the outer part but the inner part too and respray the whole thing.
Since there isn't much online about this, I'll make it a guide and throw it on here later with pictures.
