stereo changing or upgrade ?

Can you change the stereo on a 03 megane and still keep the steering wheel controls and dash display ? ,, want something can plug an ipod or mp3 into ... or is there an upgrade available ?

You can upgrade the stereo to either single din unit or a double din unit, however to keep the Renault steering controls you would also need to fit a lead (£40+) .

i see what i think is the lead you mean on Ebay .. it says there you will lose the display on the dash then ?

Hi, if your interested I have the control adaptor and a sony radio which is for ipod/ mp3 it is the one with the tray inside it so the ipod is hidden which I loved anyway ive been slowely putting the car back to standard so I was about to put tjem on ebay but saw your post and thought you maybe interested. Sorry im only seeing this now i was away for a week .. im only after the adapter really i have my own stereo but i have a kenwood so dont think the adapter would do .. if u have it on ebay send me a link anyway ill have a look.. cheers
