Window regs/temic/controller

OK...

I know this is a bit of a common one. There evemn seems to be a cottage industry built to deal with it.

But my passenger window won't work, I've bought the generic fix box Stooooooopibly before I took the door card off in the beleif that it would be the same as on the video.

being a 53 I'm guessing mines an early version - but the reg is mounde on the door card not the door itself like I was expecting.

Is there two seperate versions??

Someone may not believe your words, bit, I'm sure, you believe your eyes... are you saying that it I'd different from the factory workshop manual? It is in the sticky thread above this one...

That looks like what I've got BUT completely different to the www.renaultwindow.co.uk video I watched. In that video it appears as i the motor is mount of the door itself not the door car... I'll have another look tonight.

Yeah, I had a look at that but it doesn't show you waht the reg motor looks like or the controller to see if I've got some chinese import aftermarket jobby.
