Head lights moving

Hi , I have notice that my head lights go up and down on there own! stood or moving makes no diffence?. anybody any ideas why

Assuming you have discharge lamps, they will self test when you turn on the ignition (a quick up and down movement). If they do this at any other time other than driving, IE accelerating or braking, it's likely one of the axle sensors is faulty or detached from it's joint. Have a look at your front lower arms (i forget which side) and your rear axle for the attachment sites and go from there. After sensor issues have been ruled out, maybe look at control unit faults. There's 1 under each headlamp and they suffer with water ingress due to condensation in the lamps. Hope this helps .
