Injector Fault??

When I get to a junction the engine does not run smooth, if it was a petrol i would say that a spark plug or lead it faulty, but being a 1.9DCi it's not that. Rest of the time it pulls really well, but the fuel consumption has gone from 55 to 44mpg, is it likely to be a sticking injector & how easy are they to get out? 2005 if it makes any difference?

1. check the clear pipe to the high pressure pump for bubbles of air
2. drain water from the fuel filter - there is a special bleed screw at the bottom of it
3. clean the EGR valve - they cause rough idling.

Cheers Alex, I'll have a look this weekend, intend to do a service, oil, filters etc, this has all started happening since it went just past the service interval, did wonder if it was Renault had programmed the ECU on purpose

I hope you don't mean that the oil was not changed for two years.
It is a sure way to destroy the engine. The small script in your handbook explains that the service intervals should not exceed 1 year for most of us.
