Clutch problem

Hi All

Wife been having clutch problems , The clutch pedal would stick down to the floor so you would put foot under it and lift the pedal back up. This problem would only happen now and then.

Problem started getting worse but now..............pedal is stuck down with about 1" travel between cluch on or off

Any body know what the problem is ?

The master cylinder, I guess...
This can be caused by not changing the brake fluid for longer than 2 years, or a return spring falling off the pedal assembly. Stick your head into the foot well and have a look...
