well as winter is coming this morning the car was misty on the mirrors so put on the demister for the rear and mirrors the passenger one cleared but drivers didnt
anyone had this before and know what the problem is and how to fix?

Take the passenger side mirror glass off and plug it in to the drivers side (having removed the drivers one first of course) or vise versa. That will prove if the mirror glass is faulty or whether it's a wiring fault.
