The Mégane II Owners' Club

My car is a 54 plate 1.9 DCi 120 Dynamique.

When I put the window wipers on the first notch, they come on and stay on continuous, I also get a message saying auto wiper failure with the service light

When I activate the auto lights, I get a service light that comes on ONLY when the lights are off and on the trip computer it says Auto light failure.

I’ve done a search, and seen that it could be the sensor as they work from the same one.

Is there anything else it could be that I could look for? anything I need to do to get them working or fuse to check?

Was the windscreen replaced a any time? Check if the sensor is connected (and present, first of all).

Think it has a sensor, havent checked any wiring, only had it a few days.

Its going back on Sat to be looked at, but thought i would ask the question so i can go Armed with knowledge
