The Mégane II Owners' Club

Hi this may have been posted before but i could not find it.
My megane 1.5 dci on start up kicks out bluey smoke for a few seconds, i have read a few for these problems but seems very costly i have also noticed that a breather pipe conected to the air flow pipe has loads of oil gunk and it has a habbit of using hell of alot of oil. Cheers in advance just hope its not costly

I'm going to take a guess and suggest

a) EGR/pipes/various clogged, in which case, inspect/clean as required.
b) Bad bearings on the turbo.

Really, you need to inspect all of the induction pipework for significant amounts of oil, listen to the turbo carefully, and of course get any fault codes read. No doubt there is chapter and verse in the manuals on here.
