Maybe coil/s. That could account for rough running and cutting out.

Throttle body... remove it, clean it, refit it and I bet your problem is solved.

Use OBD. Read the fault codes first, then record and plot the live parameters when replicating the fault. Post the plots here for discussion.

as far as i understand there will be no fault on the OBD scanner, the engine simply goes out...

the problem stops when its warm, something related with the car temperature can cause the fault.

did you serviced the car recently?

Keep guessing then...

If it is something temperature-related, then it will show on the live diagrams. It doesn't need the temperature itself, but a relationship between various parameters.

I strongly advise to use OBD, and not just to scan for fault codes!

yes, in that terms i agree, like Alex told life data can give good info on whats is going on. do you have a obd scanner?

Live Data from a generic EODB scanner will be very limited and I doubt you'll see anything regarding the IAC with Mode7 data... deffo needs a proper session though.

An Idle Air Control fault is actually diagnosed with OBD. It will show as low calculated load plus revs hunting while everything else being consistent...
