front suspension problems

I have a problem that's just started my front suspension has started creaking on the drivers side but doesn't do it when it's been raining jacked the front up and put my hand on various parts as it's going up as it creaks I can feel it but can't pinpoint where it is coming from has anyone had this prob and found a cure as I don't change part after part thanks

it could be the ball joint, mine was also doing it.

Put a long screwdriver or similar onto various parts and the other end to your ear. Have an assistant move things around while you listen. The loudest sounding point is the area to inspect in more detail.

The ball joint or the bushes. Disconnect the drop link, if it still creaks then replace the wishbone, which comes with the ball joint and the bushes. Otherwise, investigate the bushes of the anti-roll bar.

As above - my Alfa Romeo had this problem (as did most Alfa's!) On them it was normally the upper wishbones, which would stop squeaking in the rain. A bit of silicone grease cured it for longer periods (replacing them was cheap enough, but pointless as they never had any play in them at that point). If there isn't any play in the bushing then maybe you could try the 3-1 silicone grease spray on them
