Sorry if this has been done, but wondering is it possible to open and close electric windows without turning engine on in a 2007 Megane extreme 1.5dc?
Maybe there's a problem with the car?

Put the card in the slot and press the start button WITHOUT touching the pedals. The dash should light up and then you can operate radio and windows. Some say press and hold the start button, some say press it three times quickly, whatever works for you.

:)

Thanks morganjake.That worked.
I put the card in and pressed start and held it 'til the ignition came on[about 4 or 5 secs].I was able to operate both front windows and the radio.
I got out of the car locked and unlocked it,got back in,put in the card and pressed start three times. The ignition came on and I was able to operate the drivers's window and the radio, but not the passenger window.
I had googled that a couple of times but found nothing. Thanks again.

Check your car for comfort programming as well.

Comfort opening: Press and hold the unlock button on your card for a few seconds. If it's configured, this will open any windows that have the 1-touch function and the sunroof if you have one.

Comfort close: Double-lock your car with mag card (2 quick presses of the lock button) will comfort close, again only if it's been configured and if you have 1-touch windows.
