Engine management & service light

Went out this afternoon fine, then went out an hour later on startup the engine management light and also the service light was illuminated on the dash.

Had the car 6months, it's done 73k, 2004 1.5 diesel.

The car drives fine, no smoke rattles issues with accelerating.

Any ideas of what the issue could be?

Might be your egr valve, i had no warning lights but decided to clean mine anyway after 79,000 miles and it was really dirty, cleaned up well though.

Did you get to the bottom of this? Mine has just done the same thing, car seems to be running fine.

**Quick update, mine is the O2 sensor.**
