tried a local garage but thy were unable to accept the job as they say specialist tools are needed. is this the case and does it mean i have no option but to take it to renault to fix???

i had that problem and i only paid £45 from my local diesel garage, i think its only a copper seal, im sure the mechanic said the injectors jump off sometimes and become unseated...

Hi

I had a similar problem, strong smell of diesel in the car. Turned out to be an o ring seal. Hour later, new o ring and the job was all done.
