few problems, help

i have a few problems with my car small but problems at the end of the day.
first one is the water in the passanger door pocket. i know this is common but i cant seem to find a topic i found on seeling the door ages ago. i tryed using silicone in the summer seasling around the speakers and cracks. but to no avail, im sure theres a rain cloud in there.any help apreciated
the se4cond one is the drives side window. havent had chance to look into this yet due to it only just starting but the drives window sometimes works. whgen i dont use the window then try to is dosnt work and you can hear a slight click but if i sit there flicking the switch backwards and forwards all of a sudden it will workand carry on working even if i leave it half way down. but if i leave it up for more than 20 miniutes i have to resort to flicking the switch till it works !! i think it might be sh1tty contacts but dunno?
