over-revving problem with renault megane 1.4 16v dynamique

Hi there, we have bought an 05 plate renault megane 1.4 16v dynamique - very pretty.....but having bought it 2 weeks ago - have actually had it a total of 3 days! - On purchasing from a private seller realised that although it said full service history it hadn't had a cam-belt change - its done 74k miles. Also noticed seemed to be over-revving, and cut out on the odd occasion after starting the engine, mentioned it to the local renault dealer - who duly changed the cam-belt, and the water pump as apparently it had begun to leak ccolant and then thought they had fixed it. Not so - on collecting the car - it over-revved - so new alternator fitted - we were told that should sort it and would also sort out any cutting out. Collected the car - the car over-revved far worse than when it was first taken in - between 2-3k rpm - it felt out of control and dangerous. It was taken back to the dealer where it has been reprogrammed and still has the same problem - needless to say they are still running tests to find out whats wrong.....please - has anyone got any ideas????

did you check the thrust pedal? some times it requires cleaning..
