i currently have a megane 1.5dci 2007 estate no problems or engine management lights on but ive ben wanting to buy a universal code scanner(diagnostic tool) and dont know what or which to buy any info would be grateful

Hi Steven.
I have an ELM327 usb interface which I use on my 2004 1.5dci. I purchased it off ebay and it came with some free software. easy ODB I think it's called. This reads all my fault codes (when I get them) and also clears them. Other software such as Digimoto 5 can monitor various items on your vehicle but I havent really gone that far into it.
