Help Drain my tank

Hi guys well today was ment to be a nice day its my birthday and with so much going on in my mind i have put £20 of petrol in my meganne dci 1.5 57 plate
this was what happened nipped to the garage put petrol in went to wickes then to my mothers and suddenly the problem started it wouldnt start took me ages to start it but eventually got home and changed ready to go out with the wife for a meal the car started and sounded not to healthy i immediatly rememberd that i put petrol in not diesel what a spanner to much going on in this tiny mind
what should i do guys i'm good with the spanners please help

Remove tank and clean it out, renew fuel filter, clean out fuel pipes best you can and hope it's not done any damage

the most simple way is to connect a electrical pump on the fuel filter pipe and suck out all the petrol. After that fill up the deposit with DIESEL and then purge the lines until the fuel filter pipe (intake). When it came only diesel place a diesel can connected to the line that goes from the filter to the fuel pump and put an empty can connected to the return pipe. Start purging the line with the rubber pump on the engine bay. Stop only when the return line only spills diesel and nothing less. After that place the new filter and purge it again. Lets hope nothing is damaged, the HP pump is very sensitive when its working without diesel..

Right in the engine bay will be a hand primer.disconnect fuel line at injector rail.then hand prime in to bucke.keep priming until diesel comes through.reconnect fuel pipe and prime again.then hould start.i had a full tank of petrol in my megane sport 175dci.this was how i drained my tank.and start first time.just make sure to put diesel additive in the tank.
