Not seen this before but my guess is that you have 9 litres of fuel left and 9.7 miles until you start using the reserve.

only 9 litres he'd be in the reserve?

odd to be in litres at all never seen that, is the car really low on fuel? on the needle gague?

the reserve is 10 litres i believe.
and you can see on the pic the car is idling. the fuel needle is also above half mark.

Fuel was at 3 quarters! The message disappeared after a restart and I haven't been able to get it back.

We'll put it down to the "character" of French electrics :?
