Washers Gone Mad!

Postby Sadret89 » Mon Nov 28, 2011 6:19 pm

I have had this problem for a few months now, but its starting to annoy me a bit.

When I pull the stalk for wipers towards me, its does what it should, squirt some water and wipe away.
When I TWIST for the rear window, water squirts at the front only and wipes away at the back.

I thought it may be blocked somewhere so I put lots of washer fluid concentrated and non concentrated, but no luck.

Anyone?

lol

sorry to laugh but i had the exact same issue with my 225, check all the wires and connections reomoved all the plastics and nothing was wrong.

so i gave up thinking i will get a new motor for it, but then yesturday it started working again!

i think i was due to blockage, just keep trying it mate! its a tough one but like i say it happend to me i was stumped but in the end it was just another megane problem

I had this with mine and it turned out to be an incorrectly fitted rear washer pipe so suggest you look there.

Where is the rear washer pipe?

it passes through the right wheel arch and keeps it way to the back of the car. Sometimes after servicing the car the wheel arch covers can get stuck on the pipe and block it.

Cheers
