Battery Cover?

Looking under the bonnet at the weekend I notice there is no cover for the battery terminals at all.....

is this normal or am i missing summat?

Currently Drives:: 57 megane with roof, engine, wheels, doors... All the usual things.

Normal I think.. Mines the same....
Actually in saying that there is a flap sort of cover over the positive terminal, nothing over negative tho..

Pretty sure i have nothing over either terminal....
