oil leak

had an mot last month and nothing showing up other than abit of wear on back brake pads, but then i got this free service from AA frm a local renault dealer which came back as a 'major' oil leak found, they want 200plus quid just to look at it? :nut

any advice :banghead

Is it leaking, can you see any leak??
If ther is I'd check the sump pugs done up tight.. Otherwise tell there where to go!! £200, what a joke!!

i cant see any oil left on the floor or anything like that

and its a garage that i have seen many of positive feedback from in chorley thats why I went there

Most diesels leak a bit. Fairly normal to see a drop or two every so often. Not so sure about petrol models though.
