had an mot last month and nothing showing up other than abit of wear on back brake pads, but then i got this free service from AA frm a local renault dealer which came back as a 'major' oil leak found, they want 200plus quid just to look at it?
any advice

Is it leaking, can you see any leak??
If ther is I'd check the sump pugs done up tight.. Otherwise tell there where to go!! £200, what a joke!!

i cant see any oil left on the floor or anything like that

Most diesels leak a bit. Fairly normal to see a drop or two every so often. Not so sure about petrol models though.
