I have finally decided to get rid of my 57 Megane 1.5 DCI Dynamique Estate.
Whilst it is incredibly economical, I have always found it very uncomfortable to drive.
The pedals seem to be in the wrong place for me and after around 18 months of ownership, I still have yet to find a comfortable driving position.
It is a really weird car in that respect.
So tomorrow it is being traded in against a Land Rover Freelander 2ltr Diesel.
Poorer economy I know, but a far more comfortable seating position for me.
My problem is that I have almost a full tank of diesel in the Megane and have just tried to syphon it out so it can go in the new car.
The hose seems to go a long way but apart from fumes, I got nothing. Would I be correct in thinking there is some sort of anti theft device bulit in, stopping me syphoning it out?
Is there any way to remove the diesel?

Eddie- wrote:you can always pipe into the tank from the flap and suck it out that way
you, cant do that, the pipe will be sent down a different route, its an anti-theft feature..
