Hi all. On my 2007 CC after starting thr engine i get a series of bleeps. The dealer says it is recognising the fact that the reverse sensors are switched on but it still happens when you switch them off and/or have the car in neutral. Does any one know if this annoying noise can be swithed off.Thanks in advance. William.

when it beeps, does the reverse lights come on?

yes the reverse lights work.

ok, if it beeps (where it shouldnt) and the reverse lights are on (where it shouldn't because you dont have the reverse gear engaged), you have a reverse switch valve wrecked. its attached to the gear box and it can be easily accessed and swapped from the bottom of the engine bay

Sorry. Confused me there. I meant yes the reverse lights work as they should when i select reverse and only then.

oh, thats a different matter then. your car have parking sensors?

Yes factory fitted.

check the sensors on the rear...i dont really know how to do it, maybe someone here can give a hint about that. If one of the sensors isnt ok you will ear that beep. further help appreciated.
