Ok, so I was driving home from dropping the missus off at work and the car suddenly goes all sluggish with poor acceleration. Kinda like driving through treacle! The Service light is lit and CHECK INJECTION is displayed on the dash.
I pull over and turn the engine off. I turn it on again after about 10 seconds and everything is perfectly fine again and I get home without further incident.
Now I have trawled through the forum a bit and most the threads I've found pin the issue to a faulty Glow Plug. Don't you only find Glow Plugs on Diesels though?? I have a 2.0 litre Petrol.
Does anyone have any suggestions as to what could be causing this and how to fix it? I may never see the message again but I'm never that lucky!
Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Re: CHECK INJECTION message (Yes, another thread!)
I drive a Diesel and am experiencing the same issue and have been told the same faulty glow plugs, but mechanics don't seem to believe me! reading through some of the threads petrol Megane's have problems with Ignition coils and diesels have issues with glow plugs. I am to see a mechanic next week with the check injection warning so I'll let you no how that goes. When I explained how the car was juddering when cold he said that he is certain it is an injector I hope not I'd scrap it first before I pay out that sort of cash.
Best of luck
