If its a standard megane its just a 10 or 13 spanner
cant remember but it just a normal size from the rear of the caliper

Do the rubber parts pull off? Do you know what I mean by the rubber parts..I don't know if I'm explaining myself very well..

In saying that... I might be looking at the wrong bit... I think I'm looking at the fitting to detach both halves of the caliper.. What do you think?

The bracket bolts are set on red Loctite. Just brush it away and add a drop of fresh Loctite. It is all in the manual in the sticky thread above the other threads. As no one reads it, the torques are: bracket bolts - 10.5 daNm+red Loctite, pillar bolts - 3.2 daNm, brake hose - 1.7 daNm, wheel bolts - 11daNm.

The tool... I used a socket. It was, probably, a star socket from a standard set.

I hope you are not confusing the caliper bracket bolts with pillar bolts. The pillar bolts are for changing the pads and the caliper bracket bolts are for removing the disc.

see pages 25 and 27 here:

I think I may be getting them mixed up, I do have to change the disks and pads tho, is there a different tool needed for changing the pads??

It's the pillar bolts, they are confusing, they seem to be in a rubber casing, how can these be removed... Thank you
