Throttle surge

Postby Scenic » Fri May 20, 2011 4:07 pm

Is this a fault or normal function, if I take my foot off the throttle pedal completly and just let it go forward on it's own accord in mainly second gear, the car slows down as expected but will then pick up speed slightly and again slow down.

Is it in any way connected with the traction control function that is fitted to my car or something else.

Tickover when in neutral doesnt fluctuate.

It's going into the closed loop control at idle revs.
