Just noticed my megane is a bit slow warming up and when it eventually does warm up (8 to 10 miles 30-50mph driving) the temp gauge fluctuates up and down by a couple of needle widths when driving even more so if i put the heater on full hot... I am sort of thinking thermostat....? had the spark splugs out last weekend as thought i could feel a misfire(all coils changed last year to green tops by dealer under warranty) all the plugs were slightly sooty so thinking it might be running a little rich?
Am i right in thinking thermostat? if so how big a job to change on the K4M engine ? any online guides anywhere? Also what is involved in bleeding the cooling sysem where are the bleed valves? thanks.
