The Mégane II Owners' Club

I took my car in for a service to a local mechanic a few days ago.

Since then, when i close all the doors and try to alarm the car, it will lock and a high pitch noise can be heard from near the rear of the car.

Anyone know what this could be???

My thoughts are that as the air filter had to be fitted the ECU (box near it??) had to be disconnected and then reconnected.... could this have had an effect??

As a result, i leave it unlocked

Figured it out. The rubbers that the bonnet rest on were set too high, therefore not pressing the switch to tell the car that it was fully down. A few twists to lower them and its sorted now.
