Window regulators

I have had both winow regulators pack in on my 56 plate megane.
Luckily for me its on warranty, but one question did become apparent to me. I was told that if your window regulator fails that Renault pay 75% of the cost incurred. In my opinion them offering to pay 75% is a clear admission of fault on their behalf, whether that be in manufacturing or general parts faults, but in this case should surely have to pay the whole cost !
Just thought itd be an interesting point for people, and for those not on warranty that they shoulnt be paying the full amount !
