Hi
Does anyone know how to change the standard Air filter on a 05 plate Megane II
The filter housing looks extremely hard to remove, is this the case?
Thanks in advance
Paul

Undo the 2 cross head screws the top piece lifts straight out to reveal the filter
Try an ITG panel filter much better and lifetime usage

Have you done it yet? I just done mine today. Its behind the battery. There are to screws on either side of it. Undo these with a really short screw drive and pull it up towards the bonnet. Its easy once u know what ur doing

Re: Standard Air Filter replacment
Tried fitting a new air filter yesterday, no luck! Had the old one loose but there was no room to get it out. It was a struggle to say the least!
Once all the screws are out how do you go about getting the airbox out? Im replacing the whole thing.

To remove the entire airbox assembly requires the battery, battery tray and ECU removing before it is accessible.
