UCH fault/central locking

Hello,
I've got an 04 Megane, 1.9DCI, 87,000 miles. It's got the keyless locking/ignition on it
In November the locking started playing up, sometimes it would lock, sometimes it wouldn't. Sometimes it would start, at other times it wouldn't recognise the key and I had to put it in the slot. I tried using the spare key, changine remote battery etc. I took it to the local main dealer towards the end of November, they diagnosed a UCH fault and replaced it (£511). Got the car back and within days the fault was back again.
Took the car back to the dealer, they said it also had a mirror sensor fault n one of the door handles and one of the keys was faulty, they also did something else and said it was working and I could use it without replacing key/sensor. I said I thought the UCH had been wrongly diagnosed which they convinced me was part of the problem.
Since then the problem has been getting worse, to the point where I don't lock the car any more because I can't get in it if I do. Took it back again yesterday, they phoned me and told me about the two problems they diagnosed before Christmas. I told them again that I thought the UCH shouldn't have been replaced, obviously they disagreed. They tried to fob me off saying because I had a faulty key it was messing with the signal on the good one...despite me having the problem when I'm away from home. They're doing more tests today because they've not come up with an answer but does anybody have any ideas on what it could be and whether the UCH should have been replaced? I can see I'll be falling out with their service manager today.
Thanks
