hands free keycards

hands free keycards
can anyone tell me if there are any settings,to turn the hands free on or off. mine was working fine then the mother in law kept pressing the button on the offside door.now the doors need to be unlocked by operating the keycard buttons ,many thanks Roy. the car is 03 megane 2ltr Dynamique

I think the reset is...
Hold the unlock / lock button while holding the stalk button.
For 10 secs or so.
If im wrong, ill be corrected soon enough.

When you open the drivers door does it say PLEASE INSERT CARD now, as opposed to PRESS BRAKE + START?

no it still says PRESS BRAKE + START .have tried both keycards aswell . it seems as if the wireless is not on for the door locks many thanks roy. tried the reset Hold the unlock / lock button while holding the stalk button For 10 secs or so still not working .

it seems only the drivers door is not working . will it be the handle sensor, or the sensor mounted on the door skin , have checked wires to them . all seem ok any advise welcome many thanks roy

You'll get alot of problems like this with the keycard. Mine is really unpredictable. Untill a few days ago my drivers side sensor wasn't working. I find temperature and weather tends to effect it. When I first got the car they all worked, now they play games with me so I look like a cock when I walk up to my car with my key in pocket and Im stood pulling on the door handle for 10 minutes because I refuse to reach for my key. I PAID FOR KEYLESS< I WANT KEYLESS!
