Toxic fume AND service light

I've read loads and loads about the toxic fume light flashing on these cars. On my one the light is constant and also the service light has come on (it doesn't need a service yet). The car is driving fine as well so I'm a bit confused. Any ideas?

I've had this sorted now. It was simply a cam sensor which needed replacing. It was quite a cheap fix.

It's a 1.6 vvti, the one where everything goes wrong and there are common faults on pretty much every part of the car.

Did they actually plug it in to a diagnostic reader?

yes they assured me that they had done a diagnostic check which read....fault code po638 (throttle actuator control range performance / isc actuator/throttle motor/app sensor) so they fitted a throttle body.however as this didnt solve the problem the next day they then fitted a new accelerator pedal sensor but sadly the fault is still there.car now booked in at main renault dealers in 2 days time so it will be interesting to hear what they suggest. keep you posted on progress.

I hope they (or you) trace all of the relevant wiring loom tracks for damage. Could be a very simple fault and fix.
