07 Megane II drivers window.

Came out this morning to find my drivers window half way down.put the card in fired it up and it went back up no problems,Works fine too.I've heard about probs with window regulators but none like this.The window seemed to have stopped about the same point as when it bounces back say if you have a hand in the way.Is there any way it could be due to ice build up?Any help is great just dont want to park it up somewhere and come back to find the window down and all my gear gone.

Hi mate, more than likely to be water in the wiring loom, because the windows have a permenant live feed (for dead locking, pressing your lock button on keycard twice quickly will close the windows and sunroof if you have one) when you get water in the loom it causes a path to earth which then powers the windows. this is why you can suddenly find your window down when you return to your car. you'll need to take the door card off and take the loom out and dry it off and clean up tha connections.
