Car in "Mode Check" Help

Hi

Woke up this morning to a problem of the Megane kind.

Its cycling through all the dash lights, and via speed and other indicator ranges. Car starts fine, but with it cycling through speed to 150, i'd have no idea how fast I am going till i see some blue lights behind.

Any idea what it is, and how to get it out of this mode? it says mode check in English, but all other text is in french so i've no idea.
