See p.70 here:

The unit converter is here (bar to psi):

Ray, your fronts are under-inflated!

I'm on 32 front 30 rear unless motorway or towing. The 'book' (can't bring myself to call it a manual) says this. So does the door plate. Am I wrong? Has there been an 'update'?

Dave,

Which "door plate"? I have two, one rectangular and one oval. None of them lists the tyre pressures.

I recently changed the tyres. The garage, obviously, inflated them incorrectly to 1.8 bar. They had the best intentions, but forgot that when the tyre is inflated, the air gets hot and then cools down, which leads to pressure reduction. The tyres got hot after a test drive on a motorway, especially the fronts. Then I adjusted the pressures and the temperatures went down. By the weight distribution of the car, it seems that 2.4-2.0 bar (35-29 psi) combination is about right. I am on Conti PremiumContact 2 205/60R15 91H tyres.

Dave, you are right, the figures I am talking about are for motorways, as noted in the factory manual.

Hmm - interesting. I think there is a door sticker. If I remember correctly it's in a diagram form. I'll check tomorrow and photograph it (if it exists outside of my imagination).
