Cabriolet roof half open Whooops???

Postby needy » Wed Oct 13, 2010 6:06 pm

Hi Guys

I need to change a part on my Cabriolet roof but the only way i can get to the part and remove it is to stop the roof half way...... i just cant see any other way of replacing the part.

Apart from heavy wind / rain will there be a problem in stopping it half way?

Am i aloud to do this?

Cheers

No problem, I have done it a couple of times to clean and get some silicone spray on the seals :)

I have done this a few times aswell to clean the back window, just beware that on one occasion after about 2 mins the roor started moving back by itself, I had left the card in and the ignition on when this happened, I had moved it from the down position to half way and it moved itself back into the down posiiton again. It has never done it with the card removed in the halfway position.
