creaking front suspension

I have a grinding/rasping/creaking noise from the front passenger side. This is worse when moving off or stopping, but happens when when driving normally. I have replaced the strutt in full but no joy. Any suggestions??? Thanks Alan

Probably the spring not seated correctly in the strut bearing. Or the bearing its self and/or plastic on its way out.

Thanks turned out to be the wishbone bolt had rusted and the movement of the steering made it creak etc!! Sorted now, new wishbone and bolts.
